Absorb Nutrients: Ingestive Heterotroph (insectivore)
Reproduce: They use sexual reproduction: Males will chirp, buzz, trill, and hum to get the attention of a female while showing off their brightly colored bodies. The terrestrial eggs are guarded by the male in a moist protected area.
Defend from Injury or Illness:
- Glandular adhesive pads are found on the toes and fingertips to help climb and remain stationary.
- Bright yellow coloration as a warning as toxicity.
